                            Zech. 14:9

One LORD, And His Name One

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

This scripture tells us that a NAME is giving to us that will save us. What name is that we ask?

Although he was called many different names and titles in the Old Testament, such as Prince of Peace, Jehovah, Everlasting Father, and so on . The true revelation of his name was not given until the New Testament Scriptures.
Galatians 1:12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Bible says in John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." He commanded us to believe on his name which is Jesus Christ
The Scriptures also state in 1 John 3:23

"And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment."
Verse 24 reads 1 John 3:24

"And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."
If we love him as the scripture says then we will keep everyone of his commandments. So we should believe on the his name, Jesus Christ.

First, The Word of God tells us to "Search the scriptures for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." St. John 5:39
So lets begin to search the scriptures to see why its the name of Jesus Christ and not Jesus Name.
Lets begin with the birth of Jesus Christ
Matt.1:18 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise..."

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord.

He inherited the name Christ before he was born. Just like you and I were to inherited our father's last name with no consideration.

Who Does Salvation Come Through
Jesus Christ is the name of the One True God.
Why the name of Jesus Christ matters?
Why It's Not Jesus Name.
The birth of who? Jesus Christ

St.John 5:43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Heb 1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
He came in his father's name which he inherited. That being the name Christ!

Matthew 1:16 And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Then eight days later they called him Jesus which makes him Jesus Christ.
Luke 2:21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
To sum it up.. He was already called Christ because he inherited that name. He was given the name Jesus by the angel but wasn't called Jesus until eight days later after he was born.
That makes his name Jesus Christ!

Not only these scriptures but also others declare the name of Jesus Christ and reflects the importance of the name.

1 Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

The Bible clearly states that Christ is the power of God and the wisdom God, Without Christ you have no power. So when you say Jesus or Jesus Name you are leaving out Christ and when you leave out Christ you leave out the power and the wisdom of God.

1 Cor. 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Zech. 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

That Name is Jesus Christ

Power of GOD
Inherited Name

God's Name

We believe that Jesus Christ is the name of God Almighty! Not Lord Jesus, Not Lord Jesus Christ, but Jesus Christ. Nothing added and nothing taking away. When you get a true revelation of who God is and what his name is than you will put it on the building.
